The Courcelles district in the 17th arrondissement is full of majestic avenues and magnificent Haussmann buildings. Imbued with elegance and typically Parisian charm, the neighborhood is attractive for its warm, family atmosphere. The presence of markets enlivens the streets and the numerous food shops, restaurants and cafés attract a regular clientele.

A bit of history…

The area around Courcelles was originally just a marshy area with little traffic. It was subsequently reserved for hunting by the nobility until the French Revolution. Integrated into the city of Paris in 1860, the district developed widely from the 19th century, notably by Baron Haussmann who had his typical buildings built there.

A peaceful atmosphere, in a sumptuous setting

Courcelles is located in the heart of the 17th arrondissement of Paris, renowned for being one of the most beautiful in Paris. Its large streets and avenues are littered with splendid freestone buildings in tree-lined streets. Take advantage of a walk to savor the peace and quiet of the place. Many high-end apartments are located alongside law offices or artists' studios. Very close to Place de l'Etoile and the emblematic Arc de Triomphe, the Courcelles district enjoys a privileged location.

This friendly neighborhood offers numerous restaurants and bistros where it is good to meet for a coffee or dinner. Also, a multitude of fashion and retail brands have taken up residence there and bring a permanent breath of fresh air to the neighborhood.

Market day in Courcelles

Courcelles promises beautiful mornings strolling along the displays in search of fresh products in Paris. The Poncelet market, like the Lebon market, is lined with regional specialties, seasonal fruits and vegetables or artisanal cheeses. Find everything you need to prepare a lunch with family or friends: butcher, baker, fishmonger... Also take advantage of your walk to taste some oysters on the go.

Those who wish to spread a sweet scent in their interior will also be delighted to go to the pretty flower market at the intersection of avenue des Ternes and avenue Wagram. Create the bouquet of your choice and bring a little color into your home.
