Key dates to remember

From 2025, the regulatory framework for the rental of housing in France will gradually tighten in order to improve the energy performance of real estate. Here are the main deadlines concerning the ban on marketing the least energy-efficient housing.

End of the rental of class G housing

 
As of January 1, 2025, G-class housing can no longer be marketed. Considered as "thermal sieves", they will have to be renovated to meet energy standards.

End of the rental of class F housing

 

From 1 January 2028, owners of class F housing will be required to undertake energy improvement work if they wish to market their properties.

Ban on renting out class E housing


January 1, 2034 will mark the end of the possibility of renting out E-rated housing, thus forcing owners to comply with the new energy regulations.

How does renovation work take place with Junot?

The first step is to make an appointment with our team to analyze your needs. You will then receive a personalized quote, and we will assist you in all the administrative procedures related to your renovation project. The work will be carried out by RGE-certified craftsmen, and Junot Location & Gestion will take care of the complete follow-up, guaranteeing you a serene management of the site.

How to benefit from this service?

This service is exclusively offered to customers who have entrusted their property to Junot for management, to which is added an additional cost of 5% including tax of the amount of the work including tax.

What is the average duration of a renovation project?

The duration of a renovation project varies depending on several factors, such as the size of your property, the scope of the work and the specific constraints of the location. After a detailed analysis of your project, we will provide you with an estimate of the time needed to complete the work as well as a detailed schedule.

Can I select my providers?

We work with a network of partner service providers, rigorously selected for their expertise and their ability to meet the rental requirements. This approach allows us to choose the companies best suited to your needs, while guaranteeing quality, financial and administrative security (thanks to their ten-year guarantee, URSSAF compliance and insurance).

If you prefer to work with your own service providers, simply send us their contact details and up-to-date administrative documents. We will then contact them to integrate them into your project.

Can I choose the colours and materials myself?

During renovation work involving the choice of materials and colors, the works manager will consult you to ensure that the decisions correspond to your tastes, while guiding you towards options adapted to the rental.

Indeed, it is preferable to favor solid, durable and easy-to-maintain materials or, select neutral and attractive colors for the greatest number.

Please note that each service provider works with specific suppliers. The choices will therefore have to be made among the options proposed by these service providers and their suppliers.
